The Hans Foundation (THF), established in 2009, is a Public Charitable Trust that works towards creating an equitable society to enhance quality of life for all through the empowerment of marginalized and underprivileged communities in India. The Hans Foundation works for the Health and Wellbeing of remote and under-served groups, with an additional focus on children, persons with disabilities and women. THF also works for holistic Education and Livelihood development of our communities. Our Two-Fold Strategy involves identifying and working within Aspirational Districts and high poverty index in the North, North-East and East regions within specific states, as well as catering to lower-income and migratory populations in cities, through urban programs.
Over its 15 years of existence, THF has reached more than 35 million beneficiaries through its programs. THF works with communities through direct implementation of projects on the ground in addition to providing local management and monitoring support to not-for-profit organizations in India funded through THF USA and RIST.

GENERAL

Type of Employment: Contractual for 1 year, renewable basis performance

Reporting to: Project Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Field visits for the proper execution of different plans and schemes at the field level.
* Field visits for the implementation of field activities.
*Need assessment and module formation of technical training programs for adolescent girls
*To plan and overview the programs for adolescent girls
*To liaison with the resource person for the field visit and training programs in the project.
*To guide the village-level workers on the day-to-day operations on the field related to group management and key deliverables and allied activities
To provide expertise and guidance in the field of adolescent girls program.
*Assistance to the project manager in various settings such capacity building trainings ,supply chain management , IEC activities, Nukkad Natak planning , Jingles Programme and overall project planning .
*Experience in development sector at technical/Coordinator position at district or Block level in Programme management including coordinating, planning and monitoring of activities and/or designing training Programmes especially related to adolescent girls and boys Health program and Social and Behavioral Change Communication.
*Skills in undertaking training need assessment, developing training materials and plans, delivering high quality capacity development sessions for empowerment-based approaches, adolescent, and youth issues.
* Understanding of government systems and flagship programmes (BBBP, School Health, Poshan 2.0, ICDS,,NRLM) will be an added advantage
*Experience of working with reputed agencies, or international organizations will be an added advantage.
*Ability to effectively manage relationships with government officials and other development partners and to work as part of a team.
*Fluency in English, and local language (both written and verbal)
Must be independently and fully set up to perform all duties from his or her own private / home office Computer literacy essential.
Other Indicative Requirements
Educational Qualifications
Post Graduate (MSW/MA) Sociology/Rural Development/ Management/ Public Health or any other relevant stream
Functional / Technical Skills and Relevant Experience & Other requirements (Behavioral, Language, Certifications etc.)
Minimum 5-6 Yrs of proven experience of Adolescent health program or Maternal Child Health Program as a Program Coordinator with a good implementation skills
Good Communication and documentation in English and Hindi or local language with a leadership Quality
Data analysis, reporting and presentation skills.
Leadership and team management skills
Willingness to travel extensively in remote areas
Should have sound computer knowledge
